Oakland teacher allowed 2nd graders to engage in sex acts in class—liberals are “shocked”

What’s the big deal? Why, under the precepts of liberalism, is there anything wrong with this incident, let alone “shocking”? Oh, yes, liberalism says that total freedom of behavior is ok only between consenting adults. But that’s a lie, since liberals support the homosexual rights movement, and the homosexual rights movement includes the advocacy of man/boy sexual activity. Further, as regards the public nature of the sex acts in the Oakland classroom, which liberals are “shocked” at, the homosexual movement, which is supported by liberals, supports the repeal of laws barring public sexual activity.

Now consider this. Even though the removal of the prohibition of open homosexuals in the U.S. military has not yet gone into effect, for many years aggressive lesbian sexual courtship of straight females has been going on in the military, even in the war theater of Iraq, and this is not reported, out of fear of what would happen to the person doing the reporting. The immediate lesson is this: if you allow homosexuals into an organization, even under supposed restrictions on actual homosexual behavior, homosexual behavior will inevitably occur and start to be normalized, and it won’t be opposed.

The larger lesson is this: Right-liberalism (procedural equality for all types of humans) inevitably leads to left-liberalism (substantive privileging for all types of humans along with their behaviors and cultures.

Which, by the way, leads to a forbidden thought: maybe Ronald Reagan was wrong in 1978 when he opposed the California referendum to bar homosexuals from being public school teachers.

CBS local news in San Francisco reports:

OAKLAND (CBS 5)—A teacher at Oakland’s Markham Elementary School has been suspended indefinitely after school officials said a pair of second-graders performed sex acts on each other in class—with the teacher present.

“I think everyone is taken aback over this shocking incident,” Troy Flint, the spokesman for the Oakland Unified School District, told CBS 5 on Thursday. “Of course, it is hard to understand how that could have occurred.” [LA replies: No, it’s not.]

Flint said the sex acts incident was one of two separate cases under investigation involving the teacher; both incidents occurred last week in the same classroom but he said they didn’t come to the attention of school officials until Wednesday.

In one case, several students apparently took off their clothes and were naked in the classroom. In the second incident, a boy and girl reportedly engaged in oral sex in front of their classmates.

Flint indicated that the suspended teacher, whose name was not released by the school district, was present for both of the incidents.

Flint and Markham principal Pam Booker said they were limited in terms of the details they could release at this time because of the ongoing investigation into the matter.

Booker noted that the students said to be involved in the incidents were interviewed by school leaders.

In a letter sent to parents of Markham students on Thursday, Booker offered an apology by telling them that the incidents “represent an unacceptable lack of supervision. I understand there is great anger over this news.”
