Two good lines from two normally inadequate conservative editors

Wesley Pruden, editor emeritus of the Washington Times, wrote one of the best lines I’ve seen about how the left view the Giffords shooting:

Every right-thinking person knew [Jared Loughner] was a sleeper agent programmed by George W. to be activated with a code word from Sarah Palin. There was no mystery about who this suspect was, not like the shooter at Fort Hood in 2009 who shouted “Allahu Akbar!” as he killed 13 people.

LA replies:

And in an otherwise typically lightweight column today, “Rich” Lowry had this zinger of a line:

[Loughner] is anti-government the way schizophrenics who believe the government is controlling their minds are “anti-government.”
