Clarence (“Bill Clinton”) Dupnik does it again, blames Limbaugh for mass murder

Real Clear Politics reports:

AZ Sheriff: Rush Limbaugh’s “Irresponsible” Rhetoric Brings Violence Against Elected Officials

Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik once again blames conservative rhetoric as the reasons for the attempted assassination of Rep. Gabby Giffords (AZ).

“The kind of rhetoric that flows from people like Rush Limbaugh, in my judgment, he’s irresponsible; uses partial information, sometimes wrong information. Attacks people, angers them against government, angers them against elected officials and that kind of behavior, in my opinion, is without consequences and I think he’s irresponsible,” Sheriff Dupnik told ABC News.

The video at RCP, showing Dupnik being interviewed by Diane Sawyer, contains statements by Dupnik not contained in RCP’s transcription. In his reply to Sawyer, Dupnik makes it explicit that he thinks Rush Limbaugh caused the Tucson mass murder.

I see one of two possible outcomes. Either the liberals’ manifestly pathological hatred of conservatives will discredit them in more and more minds, leading to a weakening of liberalism; or the hatred will continue and increase, leading the society onward to some catastrophe.

Count on catastrophe. If Republicans oust Obama in 2012, and succeed in repealing Obamacare, I don’t think Democrats, their rank and file, as well as their “muscle” such as SEIU, ACORN, and other such groups will stand idly by as they watch their dream legislation die. The same could could unfold if Republicans get the fifth vote on SCOTUS to overturn Roe v. Wade. Anything that reverses their agenda before their eyes will send the left over the edge. I’m not saying we should stand down; we should be prepared for a protracted political civil war. It could very well become as actual second Civil War.
