What a liberal sees when America is attacked by enemies

Mark Jaws writes:

Here is an example of brain power from the political class.

The mayor said that he had “trust in Portlanders’ sense of fairness” in dealing with the alleged Somali plotter.

“Bad actions by one member of any group does not and should not be generalized or applied more widely to other members of that same group,” he said. “Otherwise, as the biggest racial group in Portland, we European-Americans would be in deep trouble.”

What a liberal nincompoop. This mayor is lumping a terrorist plot with “bad actions,” such as burglary or jaywalking. His statement would have some validity if “we European-Americans” were going around and plotting to bomb mosques on Ramadan. This is proof that liberals just don’t get it. They don’t understand the nature of the black / Arabic / Islamic threat, and they never will. The liberal mind is bereft of logic, fact. and proportion. We cannot reason with such people, and we cannot allow them to rule over us. Therefore, as a first step in emancipating ourselves from liberal control we must register our anger. Therefore, I advocate the Tea Party solution. Attend public forums and just shout the liberals down.

LA replies:

It has nothing to do with a lack of brain power but with the absolute power of liberalism over the minds of people in modern society. The Liberal Prime Directive is: Thou shalt not make negative judgments about, discriminate against, or exclude people who are different from us. So, when people different from us attempt to mass murder us, what the liberal sees is not the threat to us, but the threat to liberalism. His immediate response therefore is not to defend us from those who are attempting to kill us, but to defend and reinforce liberalism from the truth which threatens liberalism.

This behavior is automatic among all liberal office holders in the modern West. When the the World Trade Center bombing occurred in February 1993, Mayor Dinkens’s and President Clinton’s first responses were to tell the public not to blame Muslims. Dinkins and Clinton were more alarmed about Americans’ (non-existent) retribution against Muslims than about Muslim terrorists’ attempt to kill tens of thousands of Americans.
