Just Undo It

Last week for the first time in my life I purchased a message T-shirt. I had to buy it, because the message, “Just Undo it,” is perfect—and resonates with me—on multiple levels.

The shirt hasn’t arrived yet, but I’m hoping it comes on Monday or Tuesday so that I can wear it around New York City before and during the election and stick it in the liberals’ faces.

I’ve always disliked the pop-nihilist slogan, “Just Do it.” “Just Undo It” is the opposite of that. But of course its major meaning is to repeal Obamacare. We don’t get into debates on the fine points of Obamacare. We just undo it.

“Just Undo It” also echoes another excellent conservative slogan I’ve always admired: Nancy Reagan’s “Just Say No.” How much better of a world would we be living in, from Adam and Eve down to the present moment, if we had just said No to so many things that we should have said No to, but instead said Yes to!
