Non-sex and the city

Laura Wood explains how “Sex and the City” is anti-sex. She says that the first SATC movie

offered incontrovertible proof that sensuality dies with promiscuous sexuality. We do not live in an age of pleasure. Hedonism does not provide the true heights of sexual fulfillment. Intimacy does.

Laura might have added that the creators of the program are homosexual men, and that the extreme yet inconsequential promiscuity of the SATC characters is that of homosexual men.
