Connecticut’s Democratic Robespierre—not finished yet

I assumed that Richard Blumenthal was through because of his lies about having served in Vietnam and his lies about his lies. But it seems I was wrong, along with scores of other conservative commentators. Polls show him ahead of his Republican opponent, Linda McMahon, by 25 points. It appears that for a Democratic politician in one of the hyper-liberal Northeastern states to be discredited with the voters, he either has to drive his state into bankruptcy, or be discovered appointing his homosexual lover to a six figure state job.
