Massachusetts governor says Republican opposition to Obama is “is almost at the level of sedition”

Afterwards he says his comment was only a “rhetorical flourish.”

A governor, an official charged with executing the laws of his state, accuses political opponents of “almost” sedition, and then says it was rhetoric? Thus he gets it both ways. He gets to call Republicans eneies of the state, and gets to avoid responsibility for having said it.
