Jihad by marriage

Michelle Malkin catalogues the many Muslims terrorists who have become U.S. citizens by marrying a U.S. citizen. She includes Faisal Shahzad in the list, but I’m not sure that’s correct. According to a very interesting article about Shahzad’s background in the May 5 New York Post, he and his wife married in Pakistan and moved to the U.S. together about seven years ago. However, another long article about Shahzad’s background, in today’s New York Times, says that she was a U.S. citizen when he married her. My present understanding is: he was in the U.S. for several years on student visas and then on a temporary H1B visa, but was not a legal permanent resident. By marrying, he became one.
