The mark of greatness

Stephen T. writes:

Like David Brooks, I’m an observer of the crease in men’s pants legs. (Well, what man isn’t?) In restaurants, I sometimes pretend to drop something just so I can duck my head under the table and sneak a peek. Admiring this man’s pants, just as Brooks did Obama’s, I’m struck by the very same assurance, the kind only a perfectly straight crease can convey: (a) he’s going to be a leader; and (b) he’ll be a very GOOD leader, indeed!
