L-dotters on Stupak

But Katherine Lopez told us we should all be thanking Bart Stupak for his hard work for the pro-life cause. Man, did he really take some gullible conservatives for a ride.

Reply 2—Posted by: Galtoid, 3/21/2010 4:46:15 PM

A Democrat is a Democrat is a Democrat. In the end, Stupak is a Democrat.

Reply 3—Posted by: mikeyVA, 3/21/2010 4:49:55 PM

I wish I had a handful of dung to throw at Stupak! MAy he rot in hell!

Reply 4—Posted by: teddyd49, 3/21/2010 4:50:28 PM

Obama has promised everything to everybody … how does this turn out to benefit anybody??????? It doesn’t….

We are doomed now to slide into oblivion as a free nation and a shining light on the hill….

Reply 5—Posted by: starlady, 3/21/2010 4:52:02 PM

In a post after this at the Corner, Yuval Levin says the executive order is no different than the language already in the Senate bill, and there are NO protections in the Senate bill text against taxpayer funding of abortions.

Reply 6—Posted by: gcs11111, 3/21/2010 4:52:25 PM

an Executive Order is useless.

it was a device used by President Bush who was latter over ridden by President Obama.

Rep. Stupak was rolled by Speaker Pelosi and Barry.

The US House will be rolled by the US Senate when they don’t pass the House changes.

the double crossing has only begun….

Reply 7—Posted by: Country Boy, 3/21/2010 4:55:59 PM

The overthrow of our U.S. government continues.

Dilettantes like Krauthammer and Brit Hume are simply slower responding, but knee pad wearing sycophants, same as the hard core sycophants like Chrissy “up my leg” and all the others.

May all you dirtbags rot in Hell.

Reply 8—Posted by: chance_232, 3/21/2010 4:57:18 PM

Oh come on! Stupak has been looking for a face saving reason to vote for this bill since day one. Stupak can later claim that either Obama let him down or that the courts did. He will have been able to save face on the abortion issue. Or at least among the voters that are to stupid to know better.

Reply 9—Posted by: papasparky, 3/21/2010 5:02:50 PM

Present Obama, aka the liar in chief, gave Bart his word on abortion, which by the way is not worth the hot air it takes to sound the words, and also used the “id” letters missing in his title to replace the ak in Bart’s last name.

Reply 10—Posted by: FLSUN, 3/21/2010 5:07:08 PM

This goes to show you how damn stupid Stupak et al. think we are.

Reply 11—Posted by: Just Tex, 3/21/2010 5:12:29 PM

Why do we need state legislatures?

Why do we need a federal congress?

IF the president and the court are allowed to make law, and make any type of law that they simply wish to be, completely out of thin air, with no Constitutional mandates, and without any Constitutional requirements or restrictions of any kind at all, why are we going through the motions every two years to have elections at all?

Reply 12—Posted by: pouncer, 3/21/2010 5:18:16 PM

Stupak, the SUCKER vote.

Reply 13—Posted by: Country Boy, 3/21/2010 5:32:50 PM

#11, Yes, and the correct response is Impeachment.

What Clinton did was illegal, but stupic and he was impeached. What our current dirtbag is doing is illegal, and is the equivalent to treason.

In October 2010, vote for no one who will not Impeach is sorry @ss

Reply 14—Posted by: UtahLurker, 3/21/2010 5:41:47 PM

We should be thankful that Stupak has proved once again, that Democrats worship their ideology, not the God of Creation. Let us not forget.

Reply 15—Posted by: garami, 3/21/2010 5:54:30 PM

What good is impeachment if he can’t be removed? You need 67 in Senate. GOP won’t even take the Senate.

Bill Krystal said this would not pass. Rush said they did not have the votes (Friday) We need new pundits. Dick Morris is working for the other side. I’ve had it.

Reply 16—Posted by: Angry Dumbo, 3/21/2010 5:56:56 PM

The new RNC rallying cry, “We’re smarter than Stupak!”

Reply 17—Posted by: cookiemaker54, 3/21/2010 6:02:32 PM

We have a strong movement going & growing in MI to vote against ALL incumbents this November. Hopefully that will be the end of Levin, Stabenow, & Stupak’s political careers … along with many others who have driven this State into it’s grave.

Reply 18—Posted by: GreatPlains, 3/21/2010 6:07:00 PM

Why the anger at the Republicans ? They don’t have the numbers to stop this. But, they great tremendous credit for trying to. Stupak was always going to fold , it was just a matter of when. A Democrat from dog catcher to school board to city council member on up … must be voted out at every opportunity. The only thing bipartisan about this disaster is opposition to it.

Reply 19—Posted by: bighambone, 3/21/2010 6:10:38 PM

This proves that there is no such thing as a pro life Democrat congress critter.

Reply 20—Posted by: garami, 3/21/2010 6:17:15 PM

On Gallup, Obama went up to 50, disapprovals down to 43, a big shift of 7 points. Rass will show a shift tomorrow as well. G_d help us all!

Reply 21—Posted by: Stewart2, 3/21/2010 6:18:55 PM

Stupak is either stupid or evil … then again perhaps he’s both. I hope that his opponents in Michigan won’t let him off the hook. They should ask why his ethics and personal honor were for sale. Of course the correct answer is that he’s a Socialist (aka Democrat).

Reply 22—Posted by: jfirebrand, 3/21/2010 6:19:44 PM

From now on, I pronounce “stupid” with a k….

Reply 23—Posted by: Namma, 3/21/2010 6:21:23 PM

Stupak along with Kookychinich did just what they intended to do … only they waited to grt a little TV time..the party of death will sentance Americans to die, but will maintain their own very good health care plan. tell me that the dems are not commies..cause I dont believe you … they are living up to their beliefs.

Reply 24—Posted by: Coy860, 3/21/2010 6:28:02 PM

Stupak is lieing to himself. He needs to get to a confessional quick and confess to forcing Americans to pay for killing babies.

Reply 25—Posted by: lakerman1, 3/21/2010 6:32:46 PM

Tie this pig of a bill up in the senate, and if unsuccessful there, in the courts. Play it like a death sentence. Killers sentenced to death are able to fashion appeal after appeal, postponing the death sentence for decades. Let’s do the same thing here.

Reply 26—Posted by: Lou E Brown, 3/21/2010 6:36:11 PM

The Halfrican can be legally removed, along with Pelosi and a couple of others who were complicit in the “natural born citizen” issue coverup. It can be done in a matter of a couple of days if there is a judge with a clear conscience, a pure heart, and American love of country and a brass…. spine who has the guts to see it through to the finish:he can be escorted out. A narcissistic tyrant is reaching for a throne here and must be revealed for what he is. God Bless America, please.

Reply 27—Posted by: Red Jeep, 3/21/2010 6:36:30 PM

Stupid, Stupak, what’s the difference. As in, “Man do you know how Stupak that was?”

I vote we officially change the word stupid to Stupak in honor of this moron.

I feel like I did between election day and through Inauguration Day—I can’t and won’t watch any of it. And at this point the last thing I care is what Shep Smith or Bill O’Reilly thinks. Fortunately I’ll watch anything on Food Network.

I want to ask everyone here to pass it on … let’s all say a mass prayer at 4:15 pm PDT / 7:15 pm EDT to stop this bill. tell ur friends and family! Thx

Coward. Definition: Choosing Political Cover over Moral Integrity.

Stupak knew an EO is trumped by the Law and can be undone. he knew it isn’t worth the paper the Marxist signed.

Stupak is a Coward. And a Baby Killer.

I hope his Constituents flood his Phone lines, storm his office and confront him. Then remove him from Office.

Coward.

It may escape some people that 0bama has lied about everything and has broken every significant promise he has made since his election. Why did Stupid think he will be an exception?

Reply 33—Posted by: drw, 3/21/2010 6:47:15 PM

Why does this place turn into doom n gloom every time something political does not go our way?

Disappointment? Yes. Sadness? Yes. Anger? YES!

But, please. This talk of impending doom is so defeatist. Conservatives are known for feeling this country can survive almost anything. But have some political issue not go our way, and well, there goes the American Experiment, down the toilet.

Why do we give up so easy?

Read about what General George Washington had to go through in 1776 and 1777. Talk about having reasons to just throw in the towel!

Our Founding Fathers faced much more adversity then we ever have collectively. They looked at impossible odds, and instead of saying “Why?”, said “Why not?”

Yes, this is a setback. But every setback is not Armageddon. Not every setback is the work of Satan on Capitol Hill. This is the mechanisms of democracy. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. But you always live to fight another day.

What we need is sober reflection, not emotional hysteria.

Reply 34—Posted by: Friarbones, 3/21/2010 6:49:49 PM

#32, I don’t think he did, I just think he used this as an excuse to vote for it … hold out, get your name recognition, get a deal, vote for it and then when it does not turn out the way you were told (and you knew it wouldn’t) … lie and tell the world you trusted Obama and voted it for it, see not his fault but Obama’s. He can say he was lied to and not responsible.

Reply 35—Posted by: Dodger Dude, 3/21/2010 6:50:44 PM

First of all, Stupidpak didn’t “get rolled.” That little Brown Shirt was in the bag from the git-go. Not a doubt in my mind. All his blithering about abortion was mere b.s. and spin in order to build up some street cred for his next election.

Second, I keep reading the question “why the anger at Republicans?” Well, it’s pretty simple for those not carrying the I.Q. of Cheese Whiz between their ears. Had Bush I and Bush II not behaved like crazed, spend, spend and more spend socialists—we wouldn’t NOW be looking at “The Last Days Of Pompeii by way of South Michigan.” We’d at least have a balanced congress to fight the lost war.

Once this Nazi goon and his grinning minions all smile and give the “Seig Obama” salute at the end of the signing—get your handy pocket calculators out, do some quick math and figure the best you can if you’ll have enough money and resources left when Obama’s official “Stamp Out The Honky” Holocaust kicks in over the next few years.

Don’t delude yourself. Once this slimey cretin puts pen to document—America (as we knew it) will be on its death bed. And all the whining, moaning and “wait until November” fantasy will be a waste of your decreasing breath. You see, Dilbert, after today, the Republicans begin their slow slide into CYA mode, while the rest of us will be tapping those handy calculators trying to see if we’ll have enough resources to live out our final years without having to sell the farm just to meet the IRS bill and keep Nancy and her White House gerbils warm in winter.

Meanwhile—those 16,000 new IRS agents are drooling to grab your payments.

Bart Stupak caught on tape at Town Hall meeting

“”If everything I want [is] in the final bill, I like everything in the bill except you have public funding for abortion, and we had a chance to run our amendment and we lost. OK, I voted my conscience, stayed true to my principles, stayed true to the beliefs of this district, could I vote for healthcare? Yes I still could.”

Pro-Life Democrats are hypocrits. They act like they are people of integrity but they are actually political whores.

Driehaus rolled, too. He is a one termer and he knows it. He, and the rest of the one termers, will now run the rest of the socialist agenda through.

This executive order isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. And Driehaus knows it.
