Carter mad, physicians sane

This is from AP:

ATLANTA—Former President Jimmy Carter said Tuesday that U.S. Rep. Joe Wilson’s outburst to President Barack Obama during a speech to Congress last week was an act “based on racism” and rooted in fears of a black president.

This is from Investor’s Business Daily:

45% Of Doctors Would Consider Quitting if Congress Passes Health Care Overhaul

Two of every three practicing physicians oppose the medical overhaul plan under consideration in Washington, and hundreds of thousands would think about shutting down their practices or retiring early if it were adopted, a new IBD/TIPP Poll has found.

Wait—I just saw the connection between the two above stories. The statement by all those doctors that they may retire from medicine if Obamacare is passed, is a statement based on racism and rooted in fears of a black president.

Isn’t it amazing how clear and simple the world becomes when you get down to the first principles of things?
