Taylor on Caldwell

Carol Iannone writes:

Jared Taylor at Vdare brings out how good Christopher Caldwell’s book is (though you wouldn’t know it from Caldwell’s interviews), but then says that Caldwell adds encomium to the great American immigration that should be just skipped over.

At the end of the review Taylor offers this simile:

This book is like a piece of Camembert that is just good enough to pick up and eat after it falls into the dirt. You eat it very carefully.

What a weird strange odd and rather disgusting idea.

LA replies:

And if the book is good why portray it in such a disgusting light?
