White South African given asylum

Rick Darby at Reflecting Light covers the fascinating story of a South African white man, Brandon Huntley, who has been granted asylum in Canada because of the anti-white violence and persecution he faces South Africa. The ANC says that Canada’s act perpetuates racism. But consider:

Between 30 and 40 newspaper clippings were presented as evidence of life in South Africa. “One article exhibited was published in [the Daily Sun in 2004] by Africa Ka Mahamba. [It was] entitled ‘Taking from whites is not a crime’,” Kaplan said.

To which Darby comments:

For Huntley’s sake, I’m glad he had sense enough not to apply to the United States.

That’s the best line of the week. Clearly Huntley is not fleeing ordinary crime, or even ordinary black on white crime. He is fleeing, in South Africa, the more activist wing of the organized political ideology known as … Obamism. Which means:

• White folks greed runs a world in need.
  
• Racial justice means equalizing the races, by redistributing wealth.
  
• Stealing from whites is the right thing to do.
