Today was the 35th anniversary of the resignation of President Nixon. For those who lived through those events, the greatest political drama of our lifetime,—and all ultimately proceeding from the “everything-is-permitted-against our political enemies” mentality that Nixon unleashed in the White House—they are unforgettable.
