Cornyn lays it on the line

Sen. John Cornyn of Texas said to Sotomayor (I’m paraphrasing): “Would your nomination return us to the system of written law and the written Constitution, in which laws are made by the people’s elected representatives, or would it move us further along the line to judge-made law?”
