Was the killer at Camp Liberty a Muslim?

(Note: Apparently he was not a Muslim.)

The U.S. military says that the American soldier who murdered five other U.S. soldiers at Camp Liberty in Iraq is named John Russell.

BBC Arabic is saying the the Iraqi Army claims that the perpetrator was a Muslim, in fact the Imam at Camp Liberty’s mosque.
