I just remembered that one should never assume that all readers will get an allusion.
What the black blogger Eric Daniels meant to say was the scourge of the Mongol hordes.
Also, for readers who do not know what the reference to James Joyce’s Finnegans Wake means, here is that book’s first full paragraph, which gives a good idea of the Joycean dreamscape of punning, wordplay, and multiple meanings:

One meaning of “doublin their mumper all the time” is the doubling (and tripling, and quadrupling) of meaning. The meaning of Dublin is doubled as the doubling of things. The main city of Ireland is thus translated into the main activity of Joyce’s literary technique, which is the multiplication of meanings. Dublin is the capital of Ireland; doublin is the capital of Joyceland.

That is rich. How about “Arkanazai and Saapharic Jews”? I think I worked with those two sometime in the mid 80s. I (as someone with Dyslexia) can sympathize with being grammatically challenged. But this is just comical. It reminds me of a comedy show in the early ’90s called “In Living Color,” in which a black convict would try to sound intellectual without a clue to his words, meanings or pronunciation. It would go something like this:
Allow me to desecrate myself. You see, the white man has been trying to manipsmate (manipulate) the black man because of his prefuncktitude (?) of lowering down the paraplegic on the seething mapmaker. But I dial less (digress). My apologies.

I often hear blacks in positions of authority in government and in schools using all the malapropisms, wrong word choices, and fractured grammar of Algonquin J. Calhoun and the Kingfish. If someone took all these sound bytes and strung them together, it would be a hit recording. We don’t have to make fun of blacks, they do so all by themselves.
That’s a great idea.

This is from my article, “The Evolution of One Person’s Views on Racial Differences in Intelligence”:
Following the arguments and actions of black leaders, listening to black callers on talk radio, led me over several years to an increasingly bleak view of black thinking styles. For one thing, it seemed to me that many blacks have a marked tendency to pick up some slogan and then just use it without much logical connection to the subject at hand. I also became increasingly aware of the “hustle,” the way many blacks at all levels—from street people and politicians to celebrated “intellectuals” like Cornel West—did not use ideas as ideas, but as a hustle, as a way of manipulating people’s feelings. Suggestibility and the substitution of rhetoric for reason are general human weaknesses, but it seemed to me that these failings were noticeably more pronounced among blacks. Of course there are many blacks who are rational and logical and intellectually competent. But the proponderance of irrationality among the black population is hard to ignore.
Building on the above, it’s not just that many blacks, including intellectual blacks, have this tendency to pick up a term and use it without understanding it, it’s that they pick up words without even knowing what the words are, and they change them to other words. So the “scourge of the Mongol hordes” becomes the “Scrooge of the Mongrel hordes.”
Furthermore, if, in the process of “adopting” our language and thoughts, they distort them so much, imagine what they do in the process of “adopting” our institutions and civilization.
But we don’t have to imagine. Over and over, when blacks are put in charge of Western institutions, they alter their meaning and purpose into something else, if not out of incomprehension, then out of resentment and black racialism. And this is true at the highest level. Thus the first black female Secretary of State, whose job was to represent America’s interests in the world, thought her job was to go around the world telling foreign audiences that America is still a racist country and has a long way to go before it has the right to consider other countries, such as Iraq, insufficiently democratic. Thus the first black Chairman of the Republican National Committee, whose job is to lead and strengthen the Republican party, thinks his job is to attack Republicans as white racists and change the GOP into a liberal party. Thus the first black Attorney General of the U.S., whose job is to enforce federal law, thinks his job is to change the inner racial thoughts and private racial behaviors of white people. Thus the first black President of the U.S., whose job is to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States, thinks his job is to equalize the wealth and socioeconomic status of whites and blacks, by destroying the wealth of the former—which, by the way, is as good an explanation of his destructive economic policies as any I’ve seen, and is also in line with what he really said in his celebrated March 18, 2008 speech on race.
Of course this is not true of all blacks, but these tendencies—both the lack of eomprehension, and the resentment—are there, and can’t be wished away.
What then is to be done? What I have said before. The white majority must awake from its 50 year long liberal suicidal dream, re-assert and re-establish itself as the dominant group of our society, and re-establish solid standards, both for itself and for all other groups; and then blacks will advance only insofar as they perform according to those standards. The white reconquest of America, as Sam Francis put it. If the Christians could win back Spain from the Moslems after 500 years, non-liberal whites can win back America from the white left and the nonwhites.
Yes, I know, what I’ve said is insane, it’s crazy, it’s impossible. But I don’t see how people can give up so easily on everything we are, without even having tried to save it.
