Obama and Democrats on brink of liberal ecstasy

Posted at Powerline, a desperate last call against the stimulus by Republican congressman John Shadegg, who calls it “nothing more than a sordid wish list of paybacks, kickbacks and pork spending for special interests.” The House today passed the final version of the stimulus—and, as before, it was without a single Republican vote. And now the only thing that can stop it from passing the Senate tonight is the three Republicans who voted for cloture the last time: Specter, Snowe, and Collins.
