What Darwinians’ recourse to teleology says about Darwinism

I have repeatedly argued that the Darwinians’ constant injection of ideas of intent and purpose into their evolutionary scenarios reveals their unacknowledged discomfort with the Darwinian theory, which of course absolutely excludes any element of intent or purpose from the evolution of life. In a comment written today I go further and argue that the Darwinians’ reliance on teleological tropes and imagery strongly suggests that Darwinism itself is false.
