When astronauts read Genesis

Here is the 1968 Christmas message from the crew of Apollo 8. How inspiring it is to hear our astronauts reading from Genesis, as they orbited the moon for the first time on Christmas Eve. They even signed off by wishing the people of “The good Earth” a Merry Christmas.

You could do that in the society of 1968 America without apology.

Thanks for posting that bit of history which shows how men who pushed themselves to the physical and mental limit still believed in greater powers. Mohammedan belief prevents them from coming up with any other technological advancements that don’t attempt to force another to convert.
