Again, the site will be quiet at least until this evening.

In the discussion on Darwinism and truth, Julien B. posted a legitimate challenge to me: why would Darwinian evolution necessarily preclude the independent existence of objective moral truth? Couldn’t humans evolve by Darwinian processes, and then discover the morality that objectively exists? I reply.

Also, see my comment on how National Review, by placing no limits on John Derbyshire’s nihilistic self-indulgences, has, like a weak, liberal parent, encouraged him to keep transgressing more and more boundaries, to see how far he can go before someone will stop him.
