Farrakhanite lobbied to get Obama admitted into Harvard

Asked on a TV interview earlier this year what he thought about Barack Obama, former Manhattan Borough President Percy Sutton volunteered the information that he had been approached in 1990 by Khalid al Mansour, a Black Muslim whom Sutton described as “the principal advisor to one of the world’s richest men,” to lobby Sutton’s connections at Harvard Law School to help Obama get admitted there, and that Sutton did what Mansour asked.

Now, as much as some people believe that pull makes the world go round, I’m a little doubtful that this could have resulted in Obama’s admission, since there are 500 places in each year’s incoming class at Harvard Law, and all the thousands of elected officials in America cannot get their personal preferences admitted there. However, that’s what Sutton said.

According to Jack Cashill writing at WND, the rich man Sutton was referring to was the infamous Saudi Prince Talal who offered New York City $10 million after the 9/11 attack in exchange for Americans admitting their responsibility for the attack.

Who is Khalid al Mansour? He’s a typical Farrakhanite firebrand. There are videos of him at YouTube linked at the page with the Sutton interview, including this one.

So, what do we know so far? We know from Percy Sutton that Mansour lobbied him on behalf of Obama. We know from Mansour’s own videos that that he is a Farrakhanite hater of whites.

Obama has also let it slip that he is a Muslim. People call it a verbal gaffe but I think it sounded natural, and he had to be corrected, he didn’t correct himself. If it were me I would have immediately corrected myself if I had verbally goofed like that.

So Obama was supported by a Muslim, he is probably a Muslim himself, and he may not be a natural-born citizen.

If Obama is elected it will set a radical precedent for who we allow to represent us: a non-assimilated Muslim-American and citizen of the world. He would be a symbolic square peg in a history of round peg Presidents.

LA replies:

“he had to be corrected…”

He had no time to correct himself, since the interviewer immediately corrected him. It was a rapid-fire back and forth.

I think the slip was just a slip. However, it could be reasonably argued that it was more than that.

Even if he was taken to mosque by his mother’s husband between the ages of six and ten, there is no evidence that Obama has had any involvement with the Islamic religion, has practiced the Muslim religion, or has called himself a Muslim (other than this recent gaffe), at least since he was ten years old. I think Obama critics weaken their argument when they make conclusory statements about his being a Muslim that are not backed up by facts.

I certainly agree with you that Obama would be “a symbolic square peg in a history of round peg Presidents.” But I think McCain is as much a citizen of the world as Obama. McCain has been more aggressive than Obama in speaking of America’s duty to serve the world. As a Democrat, Obama is more concerned about the welfare of ordinary Americans. As a Republican, McCain is more concerned about advancing a vision of America as a universal world nation.
