Anti-same sex marriage referendum in California given the go ahead

The worst development in the country over the last couple of months was the California Supreme Court’s decision stating that equal protection under the law requires that people of the same sex be allowed to “marry” each other, followed by a rush of homosexuals to that state from all across the Union to take advantage of the great new “freedom.” As the dykes rushed west, it seemed that the dikes of society were crumbling.

But now we have great news:

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters)—California voters will have the chance to vote in November on whether to end gay marriage after the state’s top court declined on Wednesday to remove an initiative on the issue from the ballot.

This is a big set back for Robert Locke in his bet with me that marriage to a domestic animal will be legal in at least one state of the Union by 2020.
