Australians trying to stop Islamic school from coming to their town

The Quranic Society has purchased 15 acres of land in Camden, a historic sheep and dairy town about an hour from Sydney, Australia, and is seeking permission to build a school there for 1,200 pupils. Few Muslims live in Camden at present; the pupils would be bused in from Sydney. But they would surely be followed by an influx of Muslim families settling permanently in the town. The local people, who have twice stopped a McDonald’s from opening in Camden, are not being shy about opposing the Muslim school, as reported by the BBC.
