Our future: a world of rogue nations with nukes

Now that the empty posturing blowhard Bush and his counterparts in Europe have blown out all their hot air about “never allowing Iran to go nuclear” and the hot air is gone, leaving Iran and North Korea with an unobstructed path to nuclear power status, Charles Krauthammer writes in today’s New York Daily News about the dreadful fix in which we find ourselves. The reality is that non-proliferation has failed and we are facing the prospect of a world of rogue states with nuclear weapons. What to do? In a clearly thought out presentation, Krauthammer proposes massive deterrence combined with missile defense.
