“Finding the Masculine Genius”

This is an interview with Anthony Esolen, English professor at Providence College and translator of the Divine Comedy. It’s very good. It has observations like this, which exactly matches my own thought:

Men have a passion for the truth, and they seek that truth not generally by means of the affections, but by complex structures of various sorts.
