Black preacher denounces Obama as a “freak” and “emissary of the devil”

(Note: Below, a reader has transcribed selections of Manning’s sermon.)

Several people have sent me this crazy YouTube of a black preacher named James Manning of ATLAH Ministry attacking Obama in the most extreme terms. It’s extremely intense and entertaining in its extremity, but I don’t have the slightest idea of what this dude is talking about. He hates Obama because he had a white mother, and he calls him a “freak.” And he is furious at blacks for dumping on the Clintons after all the Bill Clinton did for blacks and Harlem. The rest is lot of passionaste screaming. It would be interesting to read a transcript of it and see if there is an intelligible argument here.

Dr. Manning is a clever and entertaining speaker, but in this YouTube segment, he advises his flock never to vote for a Negro who hasn’t been in jail, because that’s where white people put Negroes who can really lead. Whites, he says, want Obama in the White House to show how liberal they are, to provide an example of a “good Negro” to the rest of the black community, and to send a message that with the election of a black President, nothing else is owed to America’s blacks despite 500 years (!) of slavery.

I got it. Just as we’ve been discovering how anti-white and radical Obama is, Manning is telling us that he’s a white sellout!

He calls Obama “born trash” for having a white mother, while standing at a podium that proudly displays the St George’s Cross and the English heraldic lion passant guardant in triplicate. I guess the irony is lost on these chaps.

Mr. Auster speculates there may be some merit in producing a transcript and investigating this “pastor’s” argument. Below I have selected some choice moments of this, ATLAH’s 16 February sermon (I’ve done my best to represent as much accent and enunciation as possible):

I’m here to tell you, you are an impossible group of people.

You don’t have enough sense to poke piss out of a boot, and your talking about Obama! You’re despicable!

But that’s how black men are. They don’t have anything. Again black men don’t have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of, and they’re looking for Obama to give them more irresponsibility! And unaccountability!

They’re looking for an easy way out! They’re pimps and players!

You are the weakest people on the planet, and you have the audacity to accept affirmative action, which says you are not as qualified as someone else and you made it a law! You have accepted affirmative action, and grinned and held parties, to celebrate when the white man says, “we’ll make a law similar to the Dred Scott Decision that says you are not as qualified as others because of racism and slavery, therefore what is required of the white race is not required of you”! And you have applauded affirmative action! You are ignorant! You are despicable, through and through!

The future of you African and African-American people is in my mouth! It’s not in your hand, it’s in my mouth! And I don’t have to compromise with not one of you nappy-headed people. The word! of God! is in my mouth! Your health! is in my mouth! Your ability to eat bread! Is in my mouth! If I don’t speak, you don’t eat! The wooord of God, is in my mouth!

Those of you who have spoken out against me, God has taken away your peace, and your sanity. But others of you he will inflict with cancer. The time will come for those of you to speak against me, that you will be born in egg shells to make soup.

you’re gona be scrapin up pigeon droppings, to make gravy, to put on, your egg shells. you’ll be born in egg shells and eatin pigeon droppings.

You Will come! You will come to ATLAH! Yes you will! You will come!

I don’t have to compromise with you! You’ve been losing for five hundred years! You’ve been in this country as slaves for five, five! Hundred! Years! And you’re still marching and complaining, that you don’t have anything! After five! Hundred! Years!? There must be something deficient about your intellectual strength!

two years from now Mexicans are going to be running your life and writing your pay-cheque!

I’m your last hope! After me there’ll be no hope! Farrakhan didn’t get it for ya! Barrak is an emissary from the Devil! I’m your last hope!

It’s funnier when you actually hear the squeals and shrieks.

As for argument, his comments about affirmative action are worth noting; as too is his critique of welfare dependency which an Obama’s presidency will only exacerbate. However, this claim that African-Americans are the perpetual downtrodden is quite frankly false, at least according to Walter Williams, who stated back in 2001 that:

“If you add up all the income black Americans earn and consider us as a separate nation, we’d be the 13th or 14th richest nation.”

Not exactly the picture of the piss-potless panhandler.

Thanks to Kilroy for the transcription. So Manning is placing himself in a god-like possition, saying that the future of black people, their very ability to eat, is in his mouth:

I never heard a preacher, white or black, talk this way before.
