Mamet on liberalism

Playwright David Mamet explains in the Village Voice (yes, it still exists) why he’s no longer “Brain-dead liberal.” It’s not clear to me, however, that he’s no longer a liberal. Maybe he’s just a no-longer brain-dead liberal, just as Ed Koch was a “liberal with sanity.”
