Google searching VFR!

In addition to the recently installed search tool, “VFR articles arranged by topic,” today VFR adds the wonders of a Google search box, which is aimed only at this website. It is in the right column on the main page under “Archives and Search.” Many thanks to Bob Finch, who created the box at his page at Google and I copied the code into VFR. This would be more useful at the top of the column. Maybe retire “Comprehensive Black Death Act (S.1348) defeated!”

In fact I thought today of moving the entire “Archive and Search” section to the top of the sidebar. But moving just the Google box to the top might be an idea too.

You’re right about its being time to retire the Comprehensive Black Death notice. But I’ve got to say, in the swamp of bad developments and miserable prospects where we now find ourselves, the occasional reminder of that great moment of victory (the immigration control movement’s Battle of Tours) is good to see.
