Thankful to Hillary—and I don’t care who knows it

Mark Steyn is the first establishment conservative I’m aware of who has a similar view to mine on the New Hampshire results:

In the midst of the world’s lousiest Presidents Day sale, let us give thanks to the Democratic voters of New Hampshire, who took a cooler look at Barack Obama and decided that the audacity of hope was perhaps less audacious than shameless.

Everywhere else, conservatives and Republicans have been grumbling, hissing, and shrieking at Hillary Clinton over her comeback from what they had thought was sure oblivion. The day after the New Hampshire vote, Michelle Malkin published a hate column about Hillary in the New York Post. I mean it was literally a hate column. I’ve never seen anything like it from a respectable conservative. If Hillary brushed her teeth, Malkin would say how this shows what a vile phony she is.

Personally I remain deeply grateful to Hillary Clinton for rescuing the country from instant, total immersion in Obamania—the New Age equivalent of waterboarding.
