Phillips’s silence on Muslim immigration discussed at The Spectator

A reader at The Spectator criticizes Melanie Phillips for never discussing or condemning “the central role of mass immigration in creating and sustaining the UK’s Islamic problem.” Another reader disagrees, saying that in Londonistan Phillips “most adequately” discusses immigration. I posted a comment correcting the second reader’s misimpression. Phillips indeed said some strong things about Muslim immigration in Londonistan, but they were passing remarks, she didn’t return to them, she has not connected Muslim immigration in any serious way with Britain’s growing Islam problem, and she has never called for reducing Muslim immigration into Britain by even one Mohammedan per year.
