FrontPage attacks Buchanan’s racial thesis

Patrick Buchanan in his new book Day of Reckoning argues, among other things, that white America is committing “national suicide” by the open immigration of nonwhites. Ben Johnson at FrontPage Magazine is scandalized by the crudity of Buchanan’s argument and writes: “The thesis of Buchanan’s new book seems to be: We have nothing to fear but blacks and black helicopters.” Talk about a crude argument!

Lee S. writes:

I am very relieved. According to Ben Johnson in Frontpage Mag, “many experts” agree that the threat of the North American Union is non-existent. Well, thank God, that settles that.

LA replies:

Yeah, that was a real strong argument by Johnson, wasn’t it?

Robert in Nashville writes:

So much protest by Mr. Johnson at FrontPage over Mr. Buchanon pointing out the consequences of a never ending invasion. I have issues with some of Mr. Buchanon’s positions, but the fact and consequences of the invasion are not among them.

As has been observed: “Immigration is not an invasion, until resisted.” I would add that once immigration is identified as an invasion, immigration supporters are exposed as nothing more than collaborators. Perhaps this is why Mr. Johnson is so upset.
