Update on The Noose
In today’s New York Post, the commanding officer of the NYPD hate crime task force, Michael Osgood, is quoted saying: “We are not convinced of anything. We are examining all investigative pathways.” Logically, this would seem to contradict Osgood’s previous statement that the task force had ruled out the possibility that Madonna Constantine placed the noose at her own office door.
Also, my sampling of previous hate crime hoaxes in the previous blog entry stopped at 2003, which was when I stopped accumulating them. Reader Andy M. sends information on a spectacular hate crime hoax that took place in 2005.

A black female student at Trinity International University near Chicago sent threatening letters to other black students because she wanted her mother to allow her to transfer. As a result, the school paid for over 50 black students to live in a motel temporarily. The story was national news for about a week in 2005.
“Trinity International University is a Christian school located in Bannockburn, Illinois, about 15 miles north of Chicago. Earlier this month, three minority students received threatening letters, one of which mentioned that the writer had a gun. Yesterday, Bannockburn police announced that they had arrested a suspect in the case. She was a young black woman by the name of Alicia Hardin. Apparently, Hardin didn’t like the school and wanted her parents to send her elsewhere. She sent the letters so she could convince her parents that minorities were not safe at Trinity.”
As you would expect, as soon as the hoax was exposed the story disappeared from the headlines.

The Noose incident is a hoax until proven otherwise as far as I am concerned.
Think of it. Alicia Hardin threatened the lives of three other black students, making an entire community believe that blacks were under threat of their lives from white racists. And she did this purely for her own personal convenience, as part of an attempt to get her parents to switch her to another school. Behavior of this degree of moral depravity is rare to the vanishing point among other races. It is a recurrent phenomenon among blacks. Think of the bottomless evil of Tawana Brawley, who simply in order to avoid being punished by her parents for not coming home on time, covered herself in feces and made up a story that she had been kidnapped and raped by white men and left in a sack. When asked who had done it, she picked out the name of prosecutor Steven Pagones from a newspaper story and said he was the one, thus destroying the life of an innocent white man and putting New York State into a turmoil for a year.
I am not saying that this kind of mindless moral depravity exists among all blacks or a majority of blacks or a large minority of blacks. I am saying that it is a recurrent and predictable black phenomenon, and society needs to recognize its existence.
Update (Oct 11, 8:14 p.m.):
Columbia University has insisted on receiving a subpoena before handing over security videotapes that may help police identify The Noose Placer. That’s my paraphrase of an AP story which seemed to put the matter in positive terms. But in another story, also, from AP, Columbia outright refused:
NEW YORK (AP)—Columbia University has refused to turn over security videotape that could help identify who hung a noose on a black professor’s office door, police said Thursday. Investigators began asking on Wednesday for tapes from cameras in the building, but have been rebuffed by administrators, said Paul Browne, the New York Police Department’s top spokesman.
He said police will have to get a court order to force the school to provide video they believe could crack the case.
“It’s unfortunate because it adds a time-consuming step to the investigation,” Browne said.<<
Paul K., who sent the item, remarks: “This, to me, increases the odds that it is a hoax from, say, 50-to-1 to 100-to-1.”

You always have to qualify your statements speaking to this topic with this line, or of some version of it. Which seems telling to me about the kind of feedback you must get anytime you address this issue.
Do qualifications like this help to reduce the number of negative responses you get?

I’m saying it for the sake of accuracy and precision when making a highly provocative remark. Would you respect me more if I made statement that made it sound as though black people generally were morally depraved?

I object to your recent post which suggests that depravity of a certain type is characteristic of blacks. In fact, if you re-read it, I think you will revise it.
This email is motivated by a robbery which took place in my small town today. A saintly white widow, Christian school kindergarten teacher, was burglarized while at work. All the jewelry given to her by her late husband, including her wedding ring, was stolen, as were ten years of savings bonds she had accumulated out of her meager salary, for her grandchildren. All because she failed to lock her door, as is common around here.
Apart from the violation of the widow’s home, so is the whole community of unlocked doors and open hands violated. What are the chances that this degenerate is black?
Pretty small, given the fact that our community, and all the surrounding ones, are not home to any blacks.
Our tribe(s) have contributed a full measure of depravity, rapine, and degeneracy to humankind. In our State Prison, where I have occasion to visit, there are plenty of white degenerates.
Whether blacks who live among us are more likely, less likely, or just as likely to exhibit depravity after the end of segregation is an interesting subject, one we don’t talk about nearly enough.
But the source of the depravity in our society? They’re not alone, my brother, not by a damned sight.

I have never said or thought that blacks are the sole source of depravity. How absurd to imagine that I think or would say such a ridiculous and vile thing, which would make me the biggest racist in the world. I have been speaking of specific types of depraved behavior which repeated news stories in recent years would suggest to an unbiased mind are committed overwhelmingly by blacks.

This black crime-wave we have experienced in the United States for the past 40 years has been unprecedented in its scope and savagery. Black on white rape has been endemic. Prison rape of whites by blacks is common. Everyone knows this! Everyone should look at the photo of the suspect in that story, remember a thousand similar photos from a thousand similar news stories, and tell me that there is not a distinctive profile of depraved mindless unrestrained savagery that is unique to a subset of the black population.
I repeat that when I say this, I am not trying to arouse dislike of black people generally. I am trying to get people to see the existence of a certain phenomenon that modern society refuses to acknowledge.

A professor visiting at Claremont College vandalized her own car with racist screeds. Unfortunately for her, she was seen, because our culture would want to believe her. And if it didn’t happen, they will say, it could have happened that way, which is the same. There are many motivations for deception, and belief.
Other races did not leave dissembling behind, they perfected it. So they do it with elan.

James says that Brawley was not evil, but retarded. But what he’s really pointing to is the unique combination of brainlessness and depravity that I’ve been trying to pinpoint here. Furthermore, it is a combination of brainlessness and depravity that has been liberated and empowered by white liberalism.
James W. and others have pointed to the fact (which apparently they think I don’t know) that whites commit acts of utter evil. Of course I agree, and I will say further that the depravity among American whites is worse than most of us realize. There is a program on the Oxygen cable channel called “Snapped,” which tells in great detail the true stories of murders of people by their spouses in this country. A friend watches the show regularly and tells me about these accounts. It is unbelievably shocking: one murder after another committed not out of passion, but out of mere convenience or greed for money. One typical pattern is a woman who marries a well to do man, grows tired of him, and with utter lack of conscience murders him to get his life insurance or his estate. Almost all the spousal murders recounted in the program are by whites, though there are some by blacks too. Yet, as depraved and shocking as these murders are, they represent a different type of depravity from the distinctive type of black behaviors I’ve been talking about. However, as I’ve said, in order to avoid the misunderstanding that is evident among at least some VFR readers, I will need to spell out these differences in more detail than I have so far done.

I don’t suppose it has occurred to you that white savagery toward blacks in the distant past was a result of first hand encounters with black savagery? I can easily see white men, fifty to one hundred years ago, lynching the blacks who perpetrated the Knoxville horror—they did it, why wait for a lawyer, etc, to string out the “eye for an eye” punishment of those who so obviously had no feeling for their victims? We now live in an age where we are instructed by the media and our law enforcement personnel to accept and expect violent crime on an everyday basis. Long term studies have shown (using London Bobbies as an example) of the effect “organized policing” has on a populace. Before their existence, everyone aided in the apprehension of criminals, after their existence, people defer to the police—who usually cannot prevent any crime from happening and thus will always fail “the people” except in rare instances.
Lynching was a form of instant justice—sans the traditional judge and jury. Horse thieves of any color were summarily hanged upon apprehension at a time when a good horse was necessary for survival. Rapists and murders were likewise treated at a time when there were few, if any, law enforcement personnel and judges. Those who caught the criminals were the judge and jury. If the alleged perp was found guilty in that instance, they were hanged right there on the spot. A case in point, though fiction based upon fact, is the hanging scene in “Lonesome Dove” when they catch the horse thieves/murderers—including an old friend. More whites were lynched, in fact, than blacks were. Equating the kicking to death of a lone individual by a mob of blacks with lynching is spurious, at best. We were not there when lynchings occurred, so we cannot say why most of them occurred. However, incidental historical notes suggest that most were the result of heinous or life threatening crimes.
Its no different than the modern telling of the “Zoot Suit Riots” wherein evil “whitey” erupts in a racist riot against (mostly) illegal alien Mexicans. They tend to leave out the salient fact that the Mexicans were routinely mugging the white servicemen returning to their bases after a weekend furlough. Being drunk they were particularly inviting targets for whatever money or watches they still had on their persons. The riot was a long delayed response to the repeated muggings and beatings they had suffered by a group of people with no respect for the servicemen who were soon to ship out to fight Japanese. Who was worse? The servicemen who reacted or the Mexicans who instigated it?
