Derbyshire’s rejection of knowledge, cont.

Earlier, I had posted Alan Roebuck’s and other critical comments about John Derbyshire’s article “Islamophobia,” but I had not really read it myself until tonight. It is a shocking act of intellectual vandalism, a deliberate, contemptuous rejection of the very possibilty of knowledge about Islam. I’ve added a lengthy comment of my own.
