More senators showing doubts on bill

I was away on family matters yesterday and have not been following the immigration bill closely.

The morning edition of yesterday’s New York Times had a story, “Senate Takes Up a Revised Immigration Bill, but Obstacles Remain.” Its drift was the that bill, despite some obstacles, was moving toward passage. But later in the day the Times posted online an expanded version of the same article with a very different headline:

Doubts Emerge About Passage of Immigration Bill
Several lawmakers signaled today that they were undecided about supporting the Senate immigration bill.

Also, this morning’s Times has a feature on three freshman Democratic senators who are leaning against the immigration bill: McCaskill, Tester, and Webb.
