Protesting against Bloomberg on immigration

Alicia Colon, an inchoately conservative columnist at the New York Sun, covers a small demonstration outside Mayor Bloomberg’s residence on Manhattan’s East Side ysterday afternoon protesting the mayor’s support for open borders. Colon’s own position on the issue is reasonably sound—she wants real border enforcement before we even talk about anything else. Unfortunately, following the time-honored but dishonorable tradition of “no friends to the right,” she opposes Bush’s immigration package while dismissing as extremists the protesters who have the same position as herself.
