A VFR reader gets Bush right

Buck R. writes:

I wish I was a cartoonist. I would draw Bush in a suicide belt labeled Amnesty. He would have a grin on his face and a trigger button in his hand in a crowd of recognizable Republicans looking freaked out, running away. The bubble would quote, “I promised to leave you a legacy!”

Buck’s vision of Bush provides an interesting complement to Peggy Noonan’s explanation of his motives here. They’re really saying the same thing in different ways: that Bush, like a suicide bomber, is achieving his ultimate self-realization by destroying himself and trying to destroy the country with him.

Buck also recommends this audio of Laura Ingraham taking the gloves off with Bush.
