A new tech problem

I have been off the Internet since midday, having lost my DSL connection, and it took me until 9 p.m. to establish a dial-up connection which I will have to use until the DSL service is fixed next week. Accordingly, everything will be a bit slower at the site. I ask correspondents not to send e-mails containing graphics, webpages, and so on, as they take a very long time to download with a dial-up connection.
