Thanks

Thanks to all who wrote with good wishes. Lots of sleep seems to have helped, though I’m still a bit shaky and still can’t imagine eating anything but tea and toast. I will post comments from readers today but probably not write anything myself. Also, feeling under the weather has got me finally reading a book that’s been on my shelf essentially unread for many years: Citizens, Simon Schama’s chronicle of the French Revolution.

Update: I just remembered there are various drafted but so-far unpublished items at VFR, so perhaps I will publish some of them today.
