I just noticed that Michelle Malkin has dropped “View From The Right” from her blogroll. Is this recent? Did she communicate with you as to why?

LA replied:

Someone else pointed this out to me a while back. Personally I don’t place any particular stock in being listed in a long blog roll, but since she has such a huge blog roll, including some right-wing sites that have to be at least as offensive as VFR, and since she’s listed VFR for years despite my publishing many things that might have offended her, I did wonder why she would remove VFR and no others, so I wrote to her and asked. I got no reply and wrote again. Again I got no reply, so after a while I sent her a third e-mail in which I pasted the titles and links of all VFR articles that have mentioned her over the last five years (a total of 111 blog entries), and reminded her that she and I have communicated from time to time, and that I have been personally supportive of her, for example when she was racially attacked from the left, and I added that it would be an unfriendly act if she didn’t reply. She didn’t reply.
