Hastings

Michelle Malkin has compiled an enlightening summary of key information in the case of Alcee Hastings, the former federal judge who was impeached and removed from office in 1989 for receiving bribes from drug dealers in exchange for reducing their sentence, and is now in line to be chairman of the House Intelligence Committee. The biq question at the moment is, will the House Democrats go with their hearts and make Hastings chairman, or go with their heads and think about how voters will react to the unfiltered sight of Democratic hearts?

In short, will the Democrats opt for principled corruption, or unprincipled probity?
