Further perspective on the election and immigration

Here, following Roy Beck’s piece at NumbersUSA posted earlier this week, is another informative article, this one by Patrick Buchanan at vdare, laying out the real reasons the GOP lost in the Congressional elections—notwithstanding the shameless lies of Linda, Tamar et al., it was not the Republicans’ opposition to Bush’s Comprehensive Open Borders Act. Buchanan also presents the hopeful news, reported in the Washington Post, that the Democrats, wanting to hold on to their control of the House in the next election, may not be as eager as Jorge W. Busherón to pass the Comprehensive Act.

Richard Lowry makes similar points.
