FAIR’s daily Senate reports

A great way to inform yourself about the Senate debate on S.2611 is FAIR’s America’s Future at Risk feature, with daily reports on what has happened in the Senate each day, including descriptions of each amendment, who said what, how the vote went. Here are the reports on the May 15 debate, the May 16 debate, and the May 17 debate. According to a blogger named Allah Pundit, the Senate last night voted down an amendment that would have assured that “temporary” workers remain, uh, temporary, instead of having a virtually automatic passage to legal permanent residency. It will be interesting to see FAIR’s report on yesterday’s debate on this amendment when it is posted.
