My ambition

My ambition is that before I pass from this sphere, I give a speech in which I can truthfully paraphrase President Reagan’s great summary remark about Communism in his speech at the 1992 Republican Convention:

I have seen the birth of neoconservatism, and I have seen the death of neoconservatism.
