Amnesty travesty temporarily stopped in Senate

In the original version of this blog entry posted Friday afternoon, I overstated the anti-amnesty victory. Based on an e-mail from FAIR, I concluded that the Senate would not revisit the amnesty proposals after having rejected cloture on both of them by such huge margins. The fact is, it is entirely possible that after coming back from Easter recess the open-borders forces in the Senate may find a way to pass some kind of amnesty. So this is not over yet.
