What conservatism has become

I wonder which is more more indicative of the utter decadence of today’s conservatism—the publication of William Rusher’s surrender-monkey column at Human Events, discussed below, or the presence on the same page of Human Events, and on every other page, of an ad in which a young woman wears a “conservative” t-shirt that says “Hippies Smell.” That’s the essence of today’s “conservatism”: surrendering America to the Third World invasion, while childishly and tastelessly mocking hippies who haven’t even existed for thirty years.
