Muslim student at Chapel Hill attempts mass murder with SUV
The perpetrator’s stated motive is as thoroughgoing as possible: “for the treatment of Muslims around the world.” Muslims are victimized everywhere by all non-Muslims; therefore all non-Muslims everywhere are suitable targets. Which just happens to be the classic, sacralized Islamic view of the world.
