Tilove on the AR conference

Where there’s an American Renaissance conference, reporter Jonathan Tilove of the Newhouse chain is there covering it. But Tilove’s piece on the recent AR conference, instead of appearing in the Newhouse papers as in the past, is published in the Forward, a Jewish paper. Which seems appropriate given the concerns about anti-Semitism that rose to the fore on the last day of the meeting (though strangly Tilove does not mention the disturbing anti-Jewish manifestation that occurred). His piece focuses on the place of Jews, such as Mike Berman and Robert Weissberg, in the American Renaissance circle. It’s a subject that has never been directly addressed before, and there’s a lot to say. For example, I read, to my shock, that certain individuals made anti-Jewish comments directly to some of the handful of Jews who were in attendance, telling them they didn’t belong at the conference. All this points back to the conclusion that Jared Taylor has got to take positive steps to get control of this situation, or his movement will disappear down a rat hole. I will have more to say on this subject in the near future.
