Countering the Muslim threat in the West: Faster, please

Jeff, writing from England, thinks we cannot afford to wait for liberalism to be discredited:

I agree with the essence of what you said about destroying liberalism to save the West, BUT as we are in a war we don’t have time to work on that short term. The numbers, the numbers. The horror, the horror. They must be reduced as soon as possible. Events like the Cartoon crisis offer a glimmer of hope for that to happen. The mainstream must be shocked into acting. The Cartoon Crisis is a shock. The July bombings were also a shock but they were put down to a few crazy extremists, and so ended up having little effect in waking people up. So what next, tactically? Well, more cartoon-like crises and Rushdie crises and the Muslims’ responses. The mass of Muslims act badly after them. But we must not concoct those crises, as I’ve said. So we are in a position where we must wait for Muslims to screw up and that is frustrating. We must constantly be ready to exploit the insane things Muslims will do. And they will do it, they’re dependable. Afterwards, we must hit hard. This doesn’t mean violence and hate towards Muslims in our struggle to reduce Muslim immigration. Hitting hard doesn’t mean hitting inappropriately. It is important both MORALLY and TACTICALLY to refrain from anything like that. The BNP and the Le Pen organisation and other such groups are doomed to remain on the fringes due to their flirtation with violence and hate. We mustn’t repeat their mistakes.

So, no alliances with fringe groups, that keeps us in the minor leagues. The Port issue shows that alliances can be made with very surprising allies when those allies are shown to worry about Muslims. Senator Schumer, the most liberal of Senators, is now an ally of Michael Savage, the very right wing talk show host, in calling for ports to be de-Islamicised. Ironically too, Jimmy Carter and George Bush are on the same side (for United Arab Emirates involvement) of the Port issue. So think big in terms of possible alliances and keep in mind this is a war and every day’s battles count, as the numbers of Muslim immigrants (and new babies) increase daily. That is not to say we mustn’t look at the long term problem of liberalism. But the situation is so drastic that I feel we must develop much more effective immediate tactics.
